  1. This is not so much about stoke consistency as it is about being consistent with regards to timing. For me, consistency has to do with touch and control: hitting the ball with the correct amount of spin, correct amount of velocity with regards to varying incoming shots. Good timing will direct us to hitting at the top of the bounce. Consistent stroking is a high level of self control, a deep understanding of the capabilities of your paddle and of your reaction time, physical ability, etc…. I am reminded of the kuka robot: an example of ultimate consistency?
